迪拜民众有望携带宠物乘出租车

迪拜出租车公司首席执行官Youssef al Ali表示：一项关于允许出租车上携带宠物的提议正在考虑当中。

目前，由迪拜出租车公司所监督使用的出租车上是不允许携带宠物的，无论宠物的大小，品种，也不管宠物本性有多么的可爱。

这一举措令很多宠物主人大失所望，这些宠物主们没有自己的代步工具，因为除了出租车以外，并没有其他能携带宠物的交通工具了。

Jenny Carr是一名来自南非的居民，她住在阿尔巴沙，养有两只猫。她表示：“不仅仅是出租车上不允许携带宠物，任何公共交通工具上都不允许携带宠物。这样一来，我们该去哪里呢？”

“我不常常携带宠物出门。但是，如果遇到我需要带宠物去看兽医的情况，我真的是不知所措了。”

Al Ali.表示：我们正在考虑这一服务。目前正在研究中。然而，目前宠物不允许出现在出租车上。

他补充道：人们在出租车上携带宠物没有罚款处罚，因为这一行为根本不允许出现。

A proposition to allow pets in taxis in the emirate of Dubai is under study, said Youssef al Ali, CEO of Dubai Taxi Corporation (DTC).

Currently, no pets are permitted in the taxis supervised by the DTC, regardless of their size, species or loving nature.

This has caused frustration among pet owners without their own means of transportation, as there is no other mode of mobility available to pets.

"It is not only the taxi; pets are not allowed on any public transportation mode. How are we supposed to get around then?" said Jenny Carr, a South African resident who lives with her two cats in Al Barsha.

"It does not happen very often. But when I do need to bring them out to the vet for example, I am literally stuck."
We are considering to offer this service. It is currently under study. However, at the moment the transport of pets in taxis is not permitted at all, clarified Al Ali.

There is no fine related to the transport of pets by taxis as it is simply not allowed, he added.
